Description: The tour starts and finishes on Punta Uvita Beach, it lasts about three hours.
The tour takes place in the Marino Ballena National Park and includes a visit in which you can enjoy and see the different beaches of this National Park (Punta Uvita Beach, Colonia Beach, Arco Beach, Ballena Beach, and Pinellas Beach). In addition to enjoying the different beaches, the tour includes a visit to different and important places near the National Park such as Ventanas Caves (by boat).
The tour also includes the cetaceous search, which is one of the main reasons why tourists visit this zone. Tourists also visit this area for the many different species of whales (Humpback Whales, Pilot Whales, Killer Whales, and other species) that frequent these waters seasonally.
There are also some dolphin species that are found in almost all of the Pacific Coastal areas of Central America, such as the Bottle Nosed Dolphin, the common dolphin, Rough Toothed Dolphin, Pantropical or Pacific Spotted Dolphin, among others.
These waters are also renowned for the clear waters, which produce great conditions for snorkeling. The coral reefs that protect Ballena provide a variety of spectacular marine life diversity.
What to Bring: Swimwear, sandals, sunblock, insect repellant, hat, camera (with a plastic bag), towel, and binoculars (Vortex binoculars available for rent. Inquire in the comment section at check out).
